GUN LAKE CASINO ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT RELEASED FOR PUBLIC AVAILABILITY AND COMMENT

Major Milestone in Acquisition of Wayland Township Land for Casino of the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians

DORR, Mich., Nov. 26, 2002 - Editors Note: The following statement may be attributed to Mr. D. K. Sprague, Tribal Chairman, Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe:

"The release of the Environmental Assessment by the Bureau of Indian Affairs of the U. S. Department of the Interior completes an exhaustive two-year study with nationally recognized specialists in the field who are greatly respected for their professional independence and integrity. This marks another major and successful milestone in the development of the Gun Lake Casino.

"This is great news for both our Tribe and for the people of Allegan and Barry counties, and the surrounding areas. This will bring more than 4,300 badly needed jobs, local supplier purchases, economic development, local and state revenue sharing, as well as a proven regional recreational attraction to this area."
